APV Health Research Group brings together two global health scientists with experience across study design, implementation, evaluation, and research publication. We work with researchers and institutions to make rigorous methods useful in real-world settings.
Kalee Singh
Co-Founder
Kalee received her DrPH from UC Berkeley and an MPH in Global Health from George Washington University. Over the past 15 years she has worked across development and emergency response: supporting sex workers in India, cyclone-affected families in Bangladesh, post-earthquake recovery in Haiti, the Ebola response in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Senegal, and adolescent sexual and reproductive health in Rwanda. Her focus is implementation science and community-based participatory research to improve program design, implementation, and evaluation in global health. She currently works as a researcher at UCSF's Center for Tuberculosis on implementation-science-informed strategies to increase demand for and care-seeking for TB services.
Priyanka Manghani
Co-Founder
Priyanka is a public health epidemiologist specializing in TB and HIV research, with an MPH in Global Health Epidemiology and Disease Control from George Washington University and affiliations at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and GWU. She has led and supported research for CDC and Gates Foundation projects across the United States, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia, including work at UCSF, the California Rural Indian Health Board, and the DC Cohort. She also serves as a peer reviewer for journals including Global Health Science and Practice and BMC Health Services Research.
